I brought my 7 month old daughter in for the free consultation regarding a moderate flat spot on her head. I was extremely nervous because I wasn’t sure she really needed treatment and was afraid I would feel pressured to treat because prescribing treatment is this company’s business. However, my experience was great! Everyone was extremely friendly and the scan process was super fast and easy. Treatment was suggested for my daughter because her head is misshapen, but they also made it extremely clear that if I chose not to treat the only problem she might experience in life is trouble with recreational helmets. They said once her hair fully grows in, it won’t be physically very noticeable either. I decided against treatment but I really, really appreciate their honesty and straightforward information that led me to the best decision for my child even though it meant no profits for them. I feel that makes them pretty trustworthy. Thank you!

Cranial Technologies took a uncomfortable medical situation and made it very positive. Financially they worked with me, and they did not pressure my husband and I. My daughter was cutting her 1st tooth at the same time, as well as being sleep trained. I was scared to death to add another transition into her life- but children are resilient. She was not even remotely bothered by the doc band. She wore it the 23 hours a day- and it really was a seamless experience. We cleaned the helmet as instructed- their was no foul odor. It was not a high maintenance obligation. My husband was worried what the public perception would be of his first baby girl. I will tell you, there wasn't a place we went, that someone didn't comment on how someone they knew had the doc band, and how great it was for them. There was no stigma at all! We made it through the 15 weeks, and the doc band did as it was supposed to do. I highly recommend it!
