I always love this bike shop because the owner himself is the mechanic for all your bike needs. I was just there to get my bike get fix to be riden every day to go work.
We wanted to bike down the Skyline Trail on Haleakala National Park while were on vacation in Maui, so we emailed Crater Cycles and reserved our bikes ahead of time. We were aloud to pick up our bikes the evening before (at no additional charge) so we could get an early morning start the next day. Neil, the owner, made sure we were set up for a great ride; included in the rental was Giant Trance bike, bike rack, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, backpack, and lock. He provided us with a map of the Skyline trail and he took the time to go through the map with us. We were so happy with the service and quality of bikes!!! We will be recommending your shop to everyone and will definitely be back next time we vacation to Maui. Thank you Neil!
This was my first visit to Maui and I didnt bring my shoes. Neal the owner bent over backwards to provide me with shoes at a affordable cost to ride. I really appreciated his help and I had a great ride. The west Maui loop is great but it is very hard. Be prepared.
Awesome bike shop to rent from, and they offer a variety of road and mountain bikes. I rented both and was happy with the condition and performance of the bikes. The owner Neil was super helpful and provided everything we needed including flat repair kits (which you definitely need to ride the skyline trail). A bike rack was included with the rental, and Neil gave detailed beta on what trails to ride and how to find them. Thanks for making my riding experience in Maui so rad!
Neil was super helpful is getting myself and my three teammates set up with both road bikes and mountain bikes while on Maui. He provided good information on routes, trail and riding conditions. I really appreciated his flexibility with bookings and weather conditions. I highly recommend renting from Crater Cycles.
We rented mountain bikes for the Skyline Trail from Crater Cycles. We got some good bikes plus car racks and all the safety gear we needed for much less than what we were expecting to pay. The owner was helpful and very accommodating when we got back late from the trail. Definitely check out Crater if you're going to be doing any biking in Maui.
