What an amazing gem this lighthouse is. I couldn't have picked a better time to check it out. The flowers blooming gave such a wonderful aroma with the breeze off of the ocean. It's not too difficult of a hike but I did see an elderly couple struggling to cross the sand. Unfortunately dogs aren't allowed on the lighthouse grounds so don't be surprised when you're less than 50ft from the lighthouse and can't bring the pup. No tours are being done at this time due to some reasons. Pretty cool place and it's obviously lovingly maintained.

Quite breathtaking. This is wonderful and serene picture of our beautiful California coast. Whether or not lighthouses are your thing it is a very pretty structure with nothing but beauty surrounding you, fresh salt air, and crashing waves to complete the setting

Lighthouse tours (INSIDE) are closed due to Covid-19. Access to the island and grounds surrounding the lighthouse up to the front porch - everything except actually going inside the lighthouse itself - is open theoretically 24/7. Access to the island is limited to low tide. Ideally, 1 hour before & after. By 2 hours on either side of low tide the ocean makes access difficult, and by 3 hours I'd strongly discourage attempt to access as you'll get wet (best case) or drown if your timing is not excellent and leg muscles & dexterity amazing. Total time to see the lighthouse & island: 10 to 15 minutes.

"Third times a charm!" First two attempts failed, bad weather or tide was in. Today was as good as it gets. Beautiful views all around, cute little lighthouse. Everything closed due to 2020 but still open for walking and looking.

Amazing trip. First time there and loved it. The views are breathtaking. If I had died yesterday I guessed it would have been what Heaven looked like. The tour of the inside is Amazing. It's 5 for adults and 1 for kids and well worth it.

What a beautiful site. Light house is closed due to Covid-19. The Lighthouse keeper Cynthia was kind and told the history of the building.

What an awesome place to visit! It was a bummer that it was closed (thanks, Covid-19!) But at least we got to walk around the exterior and see the amazing view! Tide pools and a lighthouse both at low tide! With a very easy walk. :)

Great place to visit a piece of history. Fun for the entire family and kids. An amazing view to see in person during sunrise or sunset. It will amaze most people. Access to the lighthouse can be done at very low tide. But be careful, keep an eye on the the tide, sometimes it will come up some While on the island. Area by the water can get windy and cold at times. Rain can dump on you without Notice sometimes. Water this high up the coast gets very cold. Parking is ample and easy to access. Just be careful of the high surf. Surf can crests over the sea wall near the parking lot. Have fun but be careful while approaching the water. Lots of restaurants in hotels in the area to stay at.
