It's always a fun experience to come here and have the corned beef once a year. It's got a lot of flavor and is extremely lean, and is only available from the start of March till St. Patrick's Day. Totally worth coming, for sure. The inside of the building is reminiscent of a forest lodge, which you can really find yourself getting lost in the atmosphere if you enjoy the outdoors. Food came incredibly fast, even with them being at practically full capacity due to St. Patrick's Day, and all had a wonderful taste to it. Server was fast and helpful in getting us all set. Fun little tip, they will dye the beer green for a little festive touch!
This restaurant has significantly gone downhill, and this isn't due to the shutdown. Tonight we were served undercooked food and previously have been served old food, frozen food quality, tasteless corned beef (not entirely sure how this happened as in the past this was a reason to come here). their menu is getting smaller and smaller too. I will be hard pressed to ever come back

Great time with the family, food delicious, atmosphere wonderful and welcoming, prices reasonable. They had a cool game area for kids with Pacman, hunt shooting game, and even pinball. Decent IPA selection. Surprising find in the Steger/Crete area. Will come again.
