We just recently joined and have been so impressed by the cleanliness and safety. When we have gone everyone (at least everyone I noticed) has been wearing masks in the common areas and masks were only removed during active workout or while completely socially distanced. I saw constant cleaning done by the staff. On our first day there the lifeguards were extra kind and patient with us as we learned the rules. They even opened the slide for 20 minutes so we could try it out on our first visit.

The best YMCA ever. It’s clean, well staffed and the vibe is very welcoming to all age groups and ability levels. Watch capacity levels during COVID-19. It is best to call ahead.

teenagers in the bathroom taking selfies. i can’t even change into clothes in the locker room because of that. and not only that but ymca doesn’t feel like home anymore. before the whole new addition i knew everyone and everyone was so kind. now the new people are snobby and stuck up.

I have no problem with the gym outside of people who don't use their mask and think they are cool. COVID-19 is Real! I think we must have a personal responsibility; wear a mask, and have mutual respect for each other and their personal space. The staff should try to politely enforce this. The front desk staff is always nice and friendly.

I would like to start by saying that I’ve been a member of the YMCA for four years now and I don’t plan on changing that anytime soon. It is a world class facility with friendly staff and great programs. My rating is based on the mask policy that is being used by them. It is lackadaisical and vague enough that no one must ever be asked to wear a mask in this facility. If we’re being honest, their mask policy pretty much reads as such: “Everyone must wear a mask to enter the building.” After that it is completely left up to the discretion of the member. I have been at peak hours and seen the numbers of people huddled around workout machines without masks. In light of current events it just does not make sense. I think this policy is profit driven and wholly ignores public health. I would not encourage my mother or anyone who might be at high risk to work out here due to this.
