By far the WORST treatment facility I have been in and I have been in several. My first two days there, at least FOUR staff members remarked about the program \At least it's not jail\. Is this the best you can say about your program? I've personally never been to jail. Maybe that should be their new slogan. The staff are constantly screaming at clients for no reason. If you attempt to file a complaint or grievance in the boxes provided, you are publicly called ungrateful and threatened with discharge. Smoke breaks are awful. They take your cigarettes during admissions and often make you wait 4-6 hours for a smoke break. I begged for Nicorette to help with the withdraw and was repeatedly denied. How can a treatment center not understand withdraw from one of the most addictive substances on earth? To make matters worse, often after you wait for the posted smoke break time, they either change it or make you jump through hoops for a cigarette. I was told my medication was accepted there. Upon arrival I was told one med was ok and one was not. I agreed to this but was told a week later that neither was ok so I informed staff I would have to find a different program. They begged me to stay so I agreed to try different meds, but I warned them I would likely be exhausted and tearful for several days. They promised to support me during this process, however after ONE day in bed they called a crisis unit and attempted to have me sent to a homeless shelter. The Board of Health are currently investigating them for the mistreatment I endured. I honestly felt traumatized by the time I left, with PTSD symptoms returning and frequent anxiety attacks for several days. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. I hope I never see another butterfly as long as I live.

My sister has been there for almost 6 months. We have done the two family sessions that we were asked to do. We live almost 2 hours away from the house. Last weekend my sister was to have a pass to come home and visit us in Pennsylvania. She didn’t get to. This weekend I want to go get her on a pass and I still don’t know if she’s allowed to come out . I don’t want to leave to go get her because it’s such a long drive but I do want to see her and bring her to see her mother. I have called and been disrespected. I know they can’t confirm or deny if she is there but I don’t know how to resolve this problem with the house. My sister has been treated badly and I think it’s because of her age. She’s older than most of the residence and doesn’t have any young children. She has a hard time getting passes to go out. She has done everything they’ve asked her to do and is living in the sober living part. We would like to see her. She’s only had two day passes since she’s been there And we would like her to have a weekend pass. I’m not sure what we have to do to resolve this problem. My sister and I are both frustrated along with our mother. We are not addicts and will supervise my sister’s visit. She has been doing well since she’s been there and I really think the program has helped her a lot. And I believe she will stay clean when she leaves there. It’s just not fair the way they treat her.

It helped my Mom encourage other people to live their best lives. The program is great. It's a long term program. I'm the Mom and I was there For 8 months. Now we live in supportive housing free for a year. The people that work there are awesome. They help women reunite with there children.I gained custody back for my daughter and will be celebrating a year clean in February.
