Found my happy pill again! Didn't realize how much I missed bike riding with a really nice bike. Thanks Matt. I love my new bike! Riding the strand, enjoying the ocean on one side and the bay on the other..... exploring, going camping...life is good.

Excellent shop for renting bikes for a few hours to all day! Such friendly service. We were provided bike locks, baskets and a map of Coronado Island. I would highly recommend! Reasonable rates too!

Went in to consider purchasing a cruiser; test drove one. Then went to the bike shop 3 doors down to test drive a used bike (cruiser king did not have any used bikes in stock). I was actually going to return to cruiser king to purchase the new bike after test driving a used bike at the other place (Holland's). As I rode the used bike down the alley to return it to Holland's, I heard the (owner?...big guy) yelling at me "why don't you get out of my parking lot!" Firstly, it's not his parking lot. It belongs to several shops on Orange Ave. Secondly, why would a business owner ever yell at someone who is considering a purchase of one of their products? If anything, you use salesmanship to explain why your product is better than the competitor's. Mr. Owner: If you read this, you just blew a sale by yelling at one of your potential customers. Yes, your product was superior to your competitor's. However, your attitude sunk your ship. Your concern over a parking space you do not even own and your pettiness cost you real dollars. Only reason I can think of why a business with an owner like this survives: sheer volume. There is just too much demand for Holland's to handle. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR: DO NOT GO HERE.
We had a great experience with out bike rental. My family and I enjoyed it and the cutomer service we received was wonderful!! They provided us with a map and the young man in the back was very helpful and friendly. He got us all squared away with bikes, helmets and locks. Will definitly be back!
I bought my bike from Cruiser King a few years ago. Upon my second return to the shop the sales rep recognized me and wanted to make sure everything was fine with my new bike. Over the years they were always very helpful with great customer service. If you want someone who is willing to help you even after you've bought from them I'd recommend this store.
The rental process was very quick, Joe was super-nice and helpful, and I really enjoyed riding the bike around. The bike was in good shape. Disclaimer: I got 1/2 price (from Groupon) for a day bike rental, including basket and lock. I only had the bike for about 3 hours, and that was enough for me to ride around Coronado (YMMV).
Great friendly staff. Bikes aren’t fancy, but they do the job. Little secret: get there early and you can park behind the store. It will save you time and .
