This place was so awesome. My wife and I stayed in the whistle pig cabin, which was just large enough to house the bed, and that's exactly what we wanted. The room did have a fridge and electricity, so that was nice. We were looking to cook over fire, escape the hustle and bustle for a bit, and enjoy some nature. This place was perfect for just that. Staff was so friendly and helpful too.

One word - AMAZING The setting is serene and relaxing. The ambience is the epitome of southern hospitality. The spring water is delicious and we loved every second, from the camp fire and roasted marshmallows, to the barn loft we stayed in, to the calmness the NC mountain setting brings to your soul. We are planning a trip back for a whole weekend.

Very peaceful. Great weekend getaway. The cold air that seeps around the baseboards is unreal. But the gas logs made uo for the bitter cold air through the night. But ALL in ALL. It's a great place to visit

We stayed in the Dairy House cabin which is not on the same property as the other cabins/creek. Very quaint cabin in a relaxing, rural atmosphere. Be advised there is no tv in the cabin, if that would bother you. The cabin is very old, as some others have said, and you are in the country so there are bugs. If you are laid back, and don't mind minor issues such as that, you will enjoy your stay.

We stayed at the River Walk Cabin recently as a family of 6. The owner was easy to work with, patient and accommodating. Everything was exactly as described and we had a very enjoyable trip. Even our family dogs (2) enjoyed the trip and had a relaxing stay. We will return again and would recommend this location to friends and family.

My wife and I have stayed here a couple of times and we love this place! Even their littlest cabin, the whistling pig, is awesome and all you need to get a good night's rest. Love the place and the actual healing spring in the property!
