Always will take my stuff there. Great work they ressurected a laptop desktop replacement computer that crashed when bios driver was getting updated. They wiped windows 7 and installed windows 10 and backed up all my files as well. Saved me 1500ish for a new computer, and have latest version of windows 10

By far the best consumer service I have ever had. I needed a laptop for a while so I sta4ted searching and figured I'd check these guys out, by far the best computer store I've been to. I forgot his name but the man with longer hair helped walk me through their collection and helped me find what I needed. I needed something for programming and basic photo editing and we found the perfect fit for me. A bit out of my price range but I've been using it for a few hours and haven't had any issues, I am happy with this purchase. Minor scratches but that's a small price to pay for a used laptop that runs like it's factory new. If I could rate this place 10 stars I'd give it 15 due to the knowledgeable and helpful staff member. Come here if you are in need of a computer and don't have a huge amount of money to spend.

Great experience with Echelon! When the Geek Squad couldn't fix a key on my keyboard, Echelon was able to help. They were very knowledgeable and informed me that I actually needed an entire new keyboard. After ordering the new one, it only took them 30 minutes to replace. Definitely recommend.

I came across this place searching for a place that sold refurbished laptops, and also one that had excellent customer reviews. At first I went to Cary Grove Computers on Route14. He was nice, but he didn't have the used machine to fit what I needed yesterday. He recommended I try Echelon in Crystal Lake saying that \they may be able to help you better in this case\ Anyway, without getting into the details of my sale I will tell you that Blake was very helpful, very efficient and I could tell he was being honest with me. I told him my story at the beginning, he listened intently and then he delivered. I ended up with an excellent working laptop with every thing that I needed it to do and more. All this at my budget price. Blake saw an opportunity to help me out and he correctly thought about the big picture in how I will return as a happy customer if he takes care of me today. The laptop works better than the last 2 brand new company issued laptops I've had. It's clean, it operates quickly, it's geared for what I needed. Thank you Blake for listening to me and thank you very much for helping me out in my predicament. You made a wonderful business decision in helping me out and I really appreciate that. I believe the wall says it all. Best computer repair in McHenry county !!! Great, fast, friendly, experienced service. They even have an original sit down Pac Man galaga 2 player game you can play or buy! Loved my experience.
