This place is a MUST visit once in your lifetime. Swimming with wild manatees on a beautiful morning is a joy and a privilege to experience. Highly recommend using a tour guide with a boat to help navigate the springs and point out where manatees like to spend their time, the water is surprisingly murky due to all the silt at the bottom swirling. It's a fun place to get some up close interaction including getting to touch these majestic creatures that are very friendly and love swimming around humans. Take an underwater camera if you have one or get your guide to take some pictures. It's a once in a lifetime experience and easy for kids and adults.

If you're in the area when the manatee are here, this is a must do. Get close by either swimming of kayaking. These are amazing animals. Please obey rules!

Beautiful. Most of the volunteers were nice. Kind of expensive for what it is - but worth it if it helps with upkeep.

They say the water is cool. Fresh spring so it is around 75 Being from Wisconsin I thought it was just fine! It is so clear here you have no problem seeing fish and the springs. Nice walking trail. Good place to check out.
