Great experience! We rented on Friday morning and spent all day on the water snorkeling. We rented a tandem, a single, a child’s wet suit plus a snorkel. (They were kind enough to loan us a pool noodle.) The kayaks are quality and well taken care of. prices were reasonable. The location is absolutely perfect. I would definitely use Bird’s again.

I had a great time with Jasmine and Andy. The weather turned warm and the majority of the manatees had moved away from the springs and were feeding. Andy took the boat to places he thought we would find manatees. We finally found one who was feeding fast and furiously so we did a lot of swimming to keep up. Jasmine kept us in a place to watch, but the visibility was pretty poor. Andy ended up taking us to the Three Sisters Spring which he had been avoiding because of the crowding. The crowds had abated and we had a great time in very clear water. It was lovely to watch some of these amazing creatures swim past us and another who was sleeping. These two took very good care of us, made us feel safe and well cared for and answered every question I had about the manatees, the birds and the fish. A great trip, well worth the price. I’d do it again under more optimal conditions.

This place is amazing! The ride was great with coffee and donuts but the manatee experience was one of a kind. They took us to two different spots. One with a ton of manatees and another one had manatees and tons of scoops of fish. An unbelievable experience with amazing tour guides and captains. We highly recommend them!

So glad to see Bird and his family again after years of us being away. We brought our daughter, son in law and grandson to swim with the manatees today. Capt Glen and our water guide Michael were especially the best. Informative, safe and so much fun. Thank you for another great family trip. You are the best manatee and diving tours in the area!

Had a great captain and great in-water guide. Easy check in and easy to gear up and go. Manatees were there but not abundant, that's how it goes sometimes. The guides knew where they'd be and wasted no time putting us face to face with them. I'd recommend Birds Underwater to anyone seeking to swim with manatees.
