Incredible scenery. First thing that caught my eye was the fountain you see when you pull in. The hotel was very clean, and our room was amazing. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was cozy yet classy at the same time. This place is family friendly, and offers much to do. You can swim with manatees, play around of golf, and they even have a private dock for members. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful scenery. Relaxing boat tour. During the hour the tour lasted, we easily saw 12 or more manatee. The guides were friendly, informative, and entertaining. There's quite often a cool breeze blowing, so if you're going in the cooler months make sure to bring a suitable covering to prevent getting uncomfortably cold.
At one time this place was probably amazing. Our expectations were high based on reviews. The outside amenities were very nice. The rooms had been updated, but the stairs to the rooms in the main complex on both ends were carpeted and were very dirty and musty. The hallways to the rooms were long and had tiled floors. The room doors were sticking so when you opened them or shut them you had to pull hard or slam them to shut them and it created a loud echo in the hallway like a gun shot. Not so nice on a Sunday morning at 6 am. We had what was called a river view room, but the windows were very dirty which affected the view. BUT overall we did enjoy the pool and restaurant, but probably will not go back to stay the night.
To swim with the manatees! This was a once in a lifetime opportunity!! A wholesome family activity. Captain Mark and Captain Dustin were funny ,calming, reassuring and most of all very helpful with making this trip, a trip to remember. Dustin took the most awesome pics and videos of our family swimming with the manatees. They dressed us up in the thickest wet suits to stay nice and cozy. A real 5 star experience!! Thank you Henry for making this trip happen for us on such short notice.
Was the best experience we had on our vacation in Florida!! Jake, Laura, Ed, and Todd were awesome!! Couldn't have had a better time. Two kids with special needs and a baby who stayed on the boat with a grandparent. They were amazing with everyone. We saw so many manatees. Definitely something we want to do again.
We only stayed one night but the location was very beautiful. The double queen room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean, quiet and the hot water was plentiful after swimming with the manatees on a brisk January morning. The check-in was quick and check out as well. Next time we will have to stay longer.
I would say it was probably pretty special in its day. The restaurant was actually good. Our room had been "renovated". Super thin walls and a large gap between door and wall so you could hear everyone walking down the hall. Hairdryer and some lamps did not work. Also small ants in the bathroom.
Parts of the hotel have been updated, but we were placed in a discusting room (# 277) with six night stay reservations. They did however offer to give us a different room the following day, but we had our all of luggage unpacked already. The restaurant prepared the fish we caught on our first experience with salt water fishing, which was excellent. The best thing about the whole facility was the fishing guides we had lined up to take us in-shore fishing along the Gulf (4 different days). We spent lots of money and felt very disappointed with our hotel room. The carpet was filthy with black mold around the mini-fridge door. I took photos that don't show the nasty black mold too well. If the fishing was not any good, we would have been totally SOL.
