We had a great time touring with Captain Dave and our guide, Lexie! We saw a few manatees. To no fault of their own, the water was a little murky, but the weather was great and we had a wonderful time snorkeling and riding down the river. It was a great experience for this first-time snorkeler. Highly recommended - we’ll come back during peak times :)

I dont even know where to begin. This tour, our crew ( Captain Ken and Melissa) was the most amazing, informative and fun time my wife and I could have asked for. Thank you so much for the memories and three hours of being around the most amazing creatures we have ever encountered. I wish I could give you infinite stars because you deserve them. I highly recommend this tour, and crew. We will be back next year. I already can't wait. Thanks so much for helping making make one of my wife's dreams come true!

1. One star for the complete disregard for the health and safety of customers. My family and I have been vigilant during this COVID19 pandemic to be as safe as possible. We decided to do the manatee snorkel tour as a family because it is outdoors and therefore, low risk. SeaDaddys is doing absolutely nothing to prevent the spread of COVID19 in their small building. We had to sit in a SMALL room with 18 guests (only 3 of which were wearing masks besides my family) to watch a video and listen to a maskless employee loudly give directions. There was no social distancing whatsoever. It was an anxiety nightmare for roughly 20 minutes. They absolutely could have done this portion outside and, at the least, could have opened the door to the room to allow outside air flow. They had 0 limitations for how many people could be in their building at once and more than a few employees were not wearing masks inside. It was not worth the risk at all. 2. There are hidden fees with Groupon (the company assumes that wetsuits are needed and will charge you for wetsuit rentals unless you tell them that you have your own). I was not asked if I needed to rent one, but luckily I asked if rentals were part of the fees and I was told that they were included in the fees unless specified. 3. (Not the company's fault) but there were no manatees in the clear springs. We did manage to see one manatee in the murky (4 ft visibility) river water but when there is only one, it is impossible for the tour to be conducted ethically. The manatee was surrounded by 10 or so people and probably put under stress.

I absolutely loved our snorkeling trip with Seadaddy’s earlier today! I was amazed by how close some of the manatees were to us, a few times they even brushed against members of the group as they passed by us. I really loved that this place has a strong message of conservation & respect for the manatees. They really stand by that - not only do they have all attendees watch a video outlining how to “passively observe” the manatees before the trip starts, they really advocate for the manatees by calling people out for not following the rules of respect for the manatees. Our guide, Melissa, shared a lot of her extensive knowledge about manatees & the overall spring area we were snorkeling in, and Captain Mike was awesome too! I can’t wait to go back for another trip with them!!!

Captain Mike and tour guide Mike took the time to explain anything we needed to know . They made sure we were safe and felt comfortable. They gave us time in water with manatees and even took us over to a springs for additional swimming and exploring. Would definitely do this next year and request the same group .
