difficult to deal with and doesn’t care about the customers. I always receive my bill 4 days before it’s due. If I don’t make out the check the day I receive the bill and send the check back the same day they claim they didn’t receive it on the due date, and then charge me a late fee. And no I’m not going to be pushed into having it taken out of my checking account. I’ve had issues in the past with companies doing that. Send me a bill at a decent time and I will pay it on time.

The problem I have is the way they have their payment service set up. I come from Blount County and having Alabama Power. If I had a 500 power bill, Alabam Power allows you to make payment arrangements, because most people can’t afford to pay that in one months time. This place doesn’t care, they aren’t considerate of their customers at all. If you don’t have the money, they shut it off after 7 days of it being due, and charge you extra for shutting it off as if you’re not having a hard enough time. I’ve had to scramble around and basically go without eating because I used my grocery money to pay my power bill to avoid me and my daughter being without power. It shouldn’t be this way.
