I wanted to take a minute to write a review for the exceptional, professional and prompt assistance that Jason Mirabella with the Law Offices of Mark Weinstein gave me regarding a real estate purchase that fell apart during the virus pandemic. My husband and I were in the middle of purchasing a home when things began to get bad quickly in early March 2020 with the virus. I lost 70% of my income first and a week later my husband lost a portion of his income. We knew we could no longer afford the home and were within our financial contingency. Our broker told us if we backed out of the deal, not only would we forfeit our earnest money (which we understood since we were already past the due diligence period)but that they, and the sellers brokers would likely sue us for commissions for both realtors and attorneys fees for both parties. They were trying to bully us into moving forward even though we knew this could potentially bankrupt our family of 5. They didn't care about anything including us, the pandemic or doing what was right - just their commissions. I contacted Jason and he gave us the confidence, assurance and information we needed to get out of the contract without the fees that we were being threatened for. He spent a lot of time understanding the details and explaining everything we needed to know. He seemed to really care about our outcome. He also followed up with us to make sure there were no further issues. Jason's help was invaluable in a time when we needed it most.
