Got let go cause my son was sick and couldn't go to daycare so I was told since they were laying people off I was let go, and I'd have to let them know 2 weeks in advance that my son was sick, this is not right at all

They fired my dad for not being able to drive 2.5 hours out of the way one way to a project they had. And they did it knowing that his father in law died two days before and we haven’t even been able to attend the funeral yet. I am a Business professional who knows how employees should be treated and this isn’t it. They are selfish, inconsiderate, and terrible people. Do not work here.
