Just had a great experience at Curate with Nicola! First eyebrow wax, which was clearly the most careful and knowledgeable such treatment I've ever experienced and I LOVE the result. Then a fully customized makeup and skin care consultation: we went through my current products and routine, she helped me judge the best colors for my face, checked that everything was safe/healthy (not expired, etc), and walked me through application start to finish. She did the technique on half my face, then had me do the other side as she coached. She offered products from her store to fill in gaps in my routine and replace products that were genuinely not right/expired, but she did NOT push me to get rid of stuff I have in order that I'd buy from her. Very low pressure, and very knowledgeable justifications for when she recommended alternative products. I am 100% going to go back to her for products and advice in the future!

This store has an excellent selection of beauty products with a very helpful shopkeeper! The store is well-kept and clean. Everything is very orderly in the shop, and any questions you may have about the products are answered promptly in an informative manner. Although small, it does not feel claustrophobic or cluttered despite the fairly wide product offering. Curate is a wonderful place.

Great selection and knowledgeable staff! The owner Nicola helped me find a great face wash and toner, plus a few make up items. She knew what she’s taking about but wasn’t pushy at all. She took her time to help me try out and find exactly what I needed and I’m so happy with all of my products! They also have fun soaps, candles, and other things I’ll need to remember to grab as stocking stuffers for the holidays.
