Absolutely incredible rescue group! There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful this place is from top to bottom. The volunteers are so kind and the animals are treated like family while they wait for their forever homes. We rescued a super senior that they so lovingly pulled from a kill shelter and we will rescue through TLC again. I encourage anyone looking to adopt to check out TLC or consider making a donation to this wonderful facility.

We recently preadopted our kitten from there and they were great to work with! The facility is always clean and they're very informative about their animals and adoption. They treat their animals very well. You can take dogs for walks and play with kittens to your heart's content.

I just wanted to relay my experience and I first want to say I am not the person to EVER write a review about a place. My family & I came today, we didn’t know what time they opened, we arrived at 12:30. The doors were open and you could clearly hear workers behind the screen door. We were told (clearly unmasked) they do not open until 1. So we said, okay, we will wait the 30 minutes. So with our son, who is FIVE, and so excited waited patiently. The sweet volunteer spoke with us UNMASKED. She was outside taking the dogs to play. Finally, minutes after 1, I politely asked if our son could use the restroom only to be rudely told “yeah if I check his temperature” then STOPS us and tells us “masks only”. I ask him if they have any extra, not thinking we needed them because the volunteers had none, and to let us wait 30 minutes saying NOTHING. He says no and walks off. There was so MANY things wrong with this situation. But how you can be rude and in front of a child who is only excited to see puppies and hopefully get one, is BEYOND me.

The place was small could use some cleaning and TLC there was only one worker but she was pretty friendly we were allowed to walk around check out the dogs on our own nose pressure no stress we was told we could take the dogs out but no one was down there to make sure nothing happened so the first dog we took out decided it wanted to attack all the other dogs through the cages we quickly put that dog up and left won't go back.

By far one of the best privately run animal shelters in Georgia. The staff and board members truly care about their animals and their facility. They are very educated about animal welfare and are a positive influence in the community.
