I would leave 0 stars if I could. The reason is simple: integrity matters. The manager and the staff at Advantage DFW do not have integrity to honor their word. My situation was that I rented a van for 4 days for my son's wedding. I decided to extend my stay. So, 3 days before the rental was due, I called and asked for an extension of 4 more days. The new total was read to me and I specifically asked if it replaced the previous total. The answer was yes. I called back and asked a 2nd time. The answer was yes again. Now, both charges went through. The manager explained to me that the person I spoke with made a mistake. OK, then perhaps they could keep the original fee per day. No was the answer. They had a chance to make even a small gesture of goodwill even though they were the ones who made multiple mistakes and now have essentially not honored their word. I never write reviews, but this one had to be written. I hope it is helpful to anyone to stay away. They will not honor their word and they will try their best to nickel and dime you.

I'm really upset, I made a reservation with a 3rd party for 100 for the weekend rental of a small suv. We moved to another state 3 months ago but because my address on my DL was 75 miles from the place of rental they told me I needed a utility bill.. And my rental would be limited to 150 miles a day... Then they told me no small SUVs were available.. I had to pay to upgrade. I have a walker that wont fit in a truck so I had no choice. We come back into town to check on family and can not change our DLs at this because of the pandemic.. but I can show that i have a flight on leaving in two days.

The general manager was very rude and argumentative. My boyfriend and I made reservation for a car. Once we arrived the experience was bad. We first notice that every other rental car company line was long and backed up except theirs. 2 people max which made me skeptical. My boyfriend went to the front to confirm our reservation while I sat. I was asked for my card and ID since I made the reservation but my boyfriend was going to be the driver. I notice that every question my boyfriend asked the lady had a snarky response with an attitude. I tried to diffuse the situation but she kept talking and making unnecessary comments. She got loud and said she would call security. We will never use this company again. The general manager showed no control. I see why there are so many other bad reviews.

If your ever in Dallas Texas and need a rental car make sure you go see Hedva @ Advantage Rent A Car It was my 1st time renting from there establishment. She made everything go smooth and easy. The car was clean and in tip top condition. I have no complaints Thank you
