After being a loyal customer for years I’m done with American. Customer service is horrible. I spent an hour an a half being ran in circles with nothing resolved after THEY MADE A MISTAKE on one of my flights. Save yourself the trouble and flu Southwest. They’re cheaper and they have more legroom.

Rude and unhelpful staff even when flying business class. Food crumbs over the seat. Frequent delays

Leaving people stranded on the tarmac rather than use one of the several open gates. No organization and a complete lack of concern for travelers. Unprofessional and a complete disregard for customers. I normally fly southwest but decided to take a chance with American. I learned my lesson

My experiences first not so helpful nor friendly employees. Then a very full flight hardly anyone cared about mask. SCARY!! it’s a pandemic people. Had an emergency so I had to pay to change my flight from the 30th to right away. Paid too much. Anyhow all the way home from EWR to DFW I was in seat 30D. A father was sitting next to me in 30 F by the window but his wife and three children were seated in 31 DEF not sure why. The mother holding her kids kept handing the father the youngest one over and over during the flight. Whilst the older kids kept kicking the back of my seat until I finally got riled up and asked her to control the kicking. Today I am in pain simply because I have a back problem and endured that for at least an hour. I could not understand why AA did not just put this family together I have nothing against kids crying and behaving badly because I am a mother of four and seven grandchildren. That was just too much my god what a horrible flight.

I checked in an over weight bag right outside of terminal D unaware that active duty gets waived that fee and was already charged the fee. I said I was going to get reimbursed anyways so wasn’t too worried about trying to make the weight and the lady working the counter, I believe her name tag said Luz, asked if I was active duty military. I said yes and showed my military I.D. (I had checked in with my passport to begin with) and she refunded the charge. She was a very sweet lady, very helpful, easy to approach and was very nice to talk to.
