I understand the concept of Cake Bar but I don't feel like it really stands out as a destination. The cake I had was normal, nothing extraordinary about it. I'm not going to throw it away but I wouldn't put it high on the cakes tier list. I wish I could explain it better but it's okay to try if you're there and it's not really worth going out of the way for.

Such a friendly environment. I got there to pick up an online order and was greeted right away. They had a long line but still took the time to speak. Once I came in they quickly found my order in what seemed like a millions orders, made sure I had everything I needed. All employees spoke once I walked in and the vibe in there was just phenomenal. The cake was delicious. So soft, fresh and the icing wasn’t too much. You can taste the quality in this cake. I can’t wait to order again. Thank you The Cake Bar, this will now be the only place I come for my cakes.
Best cake I have ever tasted . They even have a rewards program . It’s gets busy at times with the long line on the weekend(moves fast). They have a vending machine for after hours(some times the doors get jammed and you can’t get the cake). The slices of cake are huge and normally take me multiple sittings to eat. Overall, I have never had better cake. The strawberry and red velvet are my favorites.
I can 100% thank Google for blessing me with this experience! I wanted to find a quick dessert place while celebrating my mom's birthday. When we approached it was a small line only allowing four people in at a time. Outside of the window they had photos of their cakes. The staff was pleasant and some were happy singing. I loved the vibe. The cake was impressive. The icing complimented the cake so well by not being overly sweet. We ordered hummingbird, red velvet and, wedding cake. I have been telling all of my friend's and family about this place. Extra kudos for finding out I supported a local black owned business. That made me very proud! This is a place that everyone can enjoy and leave happy. I am planning another visit very soon.
