I had been looking for a box truck for my exterior cleaning business in NC. It's hard to find a gas engine like I wanted and harder finding one close to home. I found several which nothing was close to us and I talked to several salesmen in different areas all over... Gary from Commercial Equipment Services returned my call and out of all the people I spoke with he was the most personable and very easy to talk with. I told him I'd think about the truck they had in hopes I'd find something closer than 1200 miles away. I called back and made a deal with him and they were going to bring the truck to me. That day came and his guy started the drive but had some engine troubles and it had to be towed back to the dealership. I got the call from Gary with some sad news about the truck I'd just purchased! He said they'd have the guys check it out and get back with me later. The next day he called to tell me it was the motor and it needed replacing and they were going to take care of everything! We had a few more conversations but I can say the owner of this company along with Mr. Gary Neu are some great guys! They lost money on this deal and I believe it is a rare thing that this happened the way that it did with the motor messing up on their watch but what a nice company and the integrity of this owner. I knew Gary was different when we had our conversations and I found out why that was later in our second conversation. He knows the Lord and it was a great pleasure dealing with this man of honor! Don’t buy ANYTHING from this company without going to see it. I purchased the a 2012 Mitsubishi Fuso online, sight unseen. I was between two trucks and was told the truck I purchased was in good working condition. I have taken the truck on the road 7 times, broke down 5 times, and poured 5K into the truck. The parking brake wasn’t hooked up, the drive shaft was twist the bolt off with your fingers loose, DEF, DPF, Regen problems, and the list goes on. Dealer offered to pay a portion of the first bill. They have quit responding since. Now I’m told by a Fuso dealer they are trying to get these trucks off the road because they are not repairable. I’m stuck 25K in the hole with a truck I couldn’t give away. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
