My mom was fighting the horrible disease Alzheimer's. She was in a nursing facility in Irving Texas. When it came time for hospice care, we did not know where to turn or what to do. We started googling reviews of hospice companies. I am so very thankful we chose Compass Hospice! I would like to tell Danni and Christina how grateful I am to have them take care of mom. I have never met such wonderful people! They walked us through every step of the process. We had 24/7 support from them, the nurses and the Chaplin. We had an issue with one of the constant care nurses. All it took was a phone call and the nurse was replaced within the hour. I cannot say enough great things about Compass and their staff. I highly recommend them to everyone! Thank you Compass Hospice for making an unbearable situation bearable.

I was blessed to have these amazing people take care of my Mom and Step-Father. From the aides to the top doctors. So very compassionate and caring. I highly recommend them and will use them again!
Awesome group of people. Dr. Peralta, is an exceptional doctor. Vince the Chaplin always brought comfort and peace to my significant other and I. Lauren the Social Worker was always on top of everything and so caring towards us. The nurses and cna (s) were always loving towards my significant it touched my heart. We were blessed to have Compass Hospice get us through a difficult time. God Bless You All
When my 90 year old mom, who had been in a nursing home over 2 years, was placed on Hospice care, the people of Compass stepped in to reassure us of how they would make sure that our mom would never suffer. So we signed the contract and trusted that they would do what they said they would do. For a few weeks, the chaplain visited mom on a regular basis and checked in on how we were all doing emotionally on a regular basis. But when the day came when mom quickly deteriorated and her breathing changed, the Compass nurse went home. My poor mother was gasping for air, crying out in pain and begging for someone to \please help me\. It was the worst night of our lives. The chaplain and a nurse said they didn't have the meds in the facility to alleviate my mother's suffering. Nor did they have a nurse to stay with her through the night as they'd contracted to do. It took nearly 6 hours to get the meds from 30 miles away and we had to wait 12 hours for a hospice nurse, who had been sub contracted by Compass from another agency, to come and tend to my mother. My poor mother suffered terribly because of Compass'incompetence. We will never forget that horrible night. I pray to God that my mother forgot it and forgave us before she left us and went to Heaven. ABC - anyone but Compass.
