I contacted Hugo with regard to the needed repair of my office executive chair. This Guy is amazing. He fixed the chair looking better than when I bought it! He did it in two days. He also picked it up and delivered it back. To any one in need of this kind of repair, I can loudly say: Hugo is the man! Feel free to contact me if you need any further details. Len, Plano. P.S. : Hugo also repaired another furniture on the spot when he delivered the chair. He did not charged me for the second work although I insisted to compensate him.

When my cats were alive, they really tore up my dining room chairs and my favorite recliner. When they passed away, I reached out to Hugo to have then upholstered. He did a phenomenal job.

Found out about Hugo through my Father. Did some great work on 3 of my boats. Matched everything perfectly! Hard to find a good and affordable upholsterer. Hugo is a diamond in the rough.

He replaced the foam inside one of my seat cushions in my 17 year old Italian leather sofa. The foam used was as hard as a rock - no give whatsoever... and it was not shaped properly. He said he was going to use firm foam and that it would take some break in, but this foam is beyond firm. The foam is supposed to taper from thick at the front to narrower towards the rear. Rather than smoothly transition the foam across the whole depth of the cushion, he made a sudden and severe transition right in the middle of the cushion where your butt sits, causing a very prominent ridge. Due to the hardness of the foam, this is very noticeable not only visibly, but you can also feel it! Because the slant is so suddenly steep, it's uncomfortable and awkward. He did replace the foam in one of the arms of the sofa as well, and that turned out pretty good (I'd say 3/5)... but I don't sit on the arm cushion... The part that was the most important to me came out the worst because the way it is now, it's really uncomfortable to sit on. I would rather be sitting on the original foam, even though it was soft and worn out, it was more comfortable that way. I'm really disappointed, and he has not responded to my text message about the issue, which is just poor customer service (we were communicating via text prior to me picking up the cushions, so I know he can successfully communicate that way). I'm surprised that the quality of this job came out so poor given the other glowing reviews on here. Fortunately, I didn't pay very much for this work.
