My husband was interred there on September 14th 2020 with full Military Honors. It was a ceremony I won't ever forget. The Armed Service members who did his service were respectful and very kind. Thank you for your service.

Beautiful cemetary. They go above and beyond to keep it so nice. My dad, step dad and his parents are out there and my mom will be put in the wall as well. It is very peaceful and gives you time to grieve or just go to express your thoughts with your loved ones who have passed.

My wonderful husband was laid to rest on August 20, 2020. Darryl (Funeral Coordinator), who managed the process for my husband’s burial at DFW Memorial Cemetery, ensured the process for his burial was smooth and required no effort on my part. The two Naval Officers were in full uniform, performed the ceremony flawlessly with the folding and presenting of the flag, as well as a Buglar who played Taps. The program continued with words from my husband’s closest friends. Darryl then escorted my family to the burial site where my husband would be laid to rest. There he exerted patience while my family and I viewed his Marker . I decided to place one dozen Red Roses at his Marker on yesterday, as the sun was setting, and it was so peaceful with breathtaking views. My husband is at rest in the Heavens now and his Ashes in the Earth where I can feel a sense of closeness when I visit his grave site.

No picture could ever show the awesome beauty of the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. I came this morning to visit my Dad and its beautiful as always. While I was there Taps was being played somewhere, it was one beautifully emotional moment for me. All the staff were so hospitable and shared a smile. Which made me feel good. This is one of the most scenic areas of Dallas with all the water, trees, hills and beautiful landscaping. And the design and placement of the headstones are perfect. Very peaceful, very serene. It's always bitter sweet, but truly a blessing.
