Don’t regret spending 2 years studying here and earning a degree. The relationships I made and what I learned have carried me through my career even though I’m not in “vocational ministry.” The classes are small and the campus is a close community. Also appreciated the non denominational aspect as I studied for one year prior at another seminary. DTS was the right choice for me.

Great school to study in depth all 66 books of the Bible as well as church history, theology, original biblical languages, counseling and Christian education. Tuition is not the cheapest but plenty of scholarships are available. The student body is very diverse which enriches your training experience. The seminary has a large library, student housing, cafe and food pantry. Guest parking is available. All campus is wheelchair accessible.
How could I have an opportunity to study in this seminary?
I am not a student here, but I have attended 3 conferences all held at the Campbell Building. Each conference had impactful and relevant topics for dealing with current issues that the churches face... generational gaps, sex abuse, & pastoring parents. They gather knowledgeable and well-respected speakers and workshop leaders to these conferences. The staff who coordinate and run the conferences including facilities, soundboard, lunch, etc. do an excellent job.
