I don't typically post where I get my haircut but Sarah Wilson deserves a huge shout out. My wife said I'm starting to look like a cave man who had coffee with big foot post pandemic & winter crisis in Texas! So I cried for help and wrote, Dear Clark, I need help. They sent Sarah Wilson to the rescue and now I'm welcome back at home again (wife even dropped the word, sexy..I can't believe it). Sarah is one creative and gifted stylist. I found a great one and thankful I'm allowed anywhere, shirt, shoes and all. Keep up the great work Dear Clark. Sincerely yours, Tommy

Holly Dear has a great deal of training, experience, and talent, and gives a great cut, as well as being a real hoot to hang out with. Her ability to style hair that no longer covers as much of our scalps as it once did is unparalleled--she does a great job at hiding my break-dancing injury. She really runs a tight ship, and has assembled a great crew in a pleasant environment. The absence of loud club music is a bonus. Josephine Barron has great hands, and brings a real sense of artistry to shampooing and conditioning. It's well worth just relaxing and paying attention to the experience while she works. She's a delightful young lady, and evinces a real passion for her work. I foresee a bright future for her in the field. The salon does a great job of utilizing online capabilities--scheduling is a breeze--and is dealing with COVID effectively and gracefully. I felt quite safe there even before my vaccinations. I have seen a lot of curly hair go in the salon looking awful and go out looking great. That kind of hair is a real challenge, and one Dear Clark meets successfully. We drive five hours from West Texas to visit this salon, and consider it well worth it. Grateful for the controlled parking lot!

I got my haircut with Laurel and I absolutely loved her and my haircut!! I have gotten my haircut from her before and both times she did a spectacular job! I’m not picky with how my hair is cut but I had a few specifications and she made sure that I was happy with what I got. She is so kind and makes you feel right at home. She is so great at her job! I recommend her services to everyone that I can (:

This was my first time getting color at Dear Clark, and sadly I have to give my experience here a low rating :( I think the main problem was my stylist Jennifer was overbooked and very rushed. She mentioned several times how she had four clients there at once. We spent probably less than a minute for the consultation and flew threw the couple inspiration pictures I brought in (blonde balayage). She was going really, really fast with the balayage and had to leave several times to attend to other clients. After it was all said and done I felt rushed leaving and didn’t get a chance to buy products (earlier I had mentioned wanting to buy a deep conditioner and purple shampoo from them). When I got home and really had a chance to look at my hair, I was shocked. The color turned out reallyyy brassy and it looked like chunky highlights that started at the root (not at all the same balayage technique I have had before). I was so disappointed....cried a little, not gonna lie. I called the salon back right away and spoke with Kelly who had me text her pictures. Here’s the bottom line and why I’m giving a low rating: I made it very clear that I did not want to go back to this salon. I asked for a refund and they said my only option was to have Jennifer try to fix my hair (other stylists couldn’t do it because she is an independent contractor). I did NOT feel comfortable going back for a second attempt...just did not have a good feeling about it based on her original technique. I tried several more times to get the owner’s email or phone number to ask for a refund (contacted Kelly and Jennifer again) and was unsuccessful....again my only options were to come back in to the salon....which is kind of the last thing I wanted to do at that point. Luckily, I got my hair fixed at another salon and even though I had to spend big bucks again (and five hours for color correction) it turned out beautifully. Sad that Dear Clark refused to give me any kind of refund :(
