This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Owner Jake is one of the most welcoming people you will ever meet. Bartenders and wait staff are attentive and awesome. The food...wow. I could not recommend this place enough. 11/10.
This place is the BEST in Dallas for Mexican food, especially Wednesday’s for 2 margs (they do cut you off at 3!). The 2 different salsas are fantastic, love the warm one it’s so unique! The sopaipilla is good, I just really love the cheesecake spin though, these are original. Pictured is the Kahlua Cake, definitely recommend!
Food was good, didn't really get a friendly vibe from our server. When he approached our table he didn't say hello or welcome us to Desperado, just do know what you want to order. When he served the food, my drink was empty, he didn't ask if I wanted another round. I had to ask for one. the 4 stars is for the food.
Forgot about Desperado, been maybe a decade or too, but it'll now be one of my regulars, cos and atmosphere are great!
