I have been blessed to work with DFW Home Health several times throughout the years. I have sought them out from the crowded field out there. Their therapists are excellent. They are highly skilled, knowledgeable and caring. They encourage the patients to exert themselves but never to the point of potential pain or injury. I have proudly recommended DFW to my friends, family, and neighbors.

Totally incompetent, don’t waste your time trying to deal with them. They were to provide PT service, and their nurse and PT evaluator did arrive as Schumer, and appeared to go a good job. They were to submit their reports and get back with a schedule for home visits the next day. That was the last that was heard from this agency about starting PT visits. Three days later a call from them wanting to setup an evaluation. Two days later another voice message call for the same thing. When answered, they were to call back, never happened. After knee surgery urgently stating PT is crucial, this service was completely useless, and totally non responsive. Stay away!
They have really great therapists. One of the Occupational Therapists, Nathan, is especially great with clients and there are also good physical therapists. However, nurses seem to mean well but rarely do what they say that they will do. If they say they will take care of something as simple as wound care materials, or getting a doc order for medical equipment, do not hold your breath. Also, if a nurse says she/he will see a client several times a week because they have an issue that needs to be monitored, do not count in it. Make sure your loved one has someone else to actually take care of those issues. The nursing care for my family has, so far, not been at all helpful. This is really disturbing since it is paid by Medicare. This is the kind of thing that makes policymakers try to decrease payments for home health. I am guessing that each nurse visit is charged a certain rate regardless of whether the professional does his/her duty.
Never called to confirm appointment. Was told they were sending someone. Got call from a nurse who lied and claimed I told her not to come. Then I get call from supervisor and told. THEY ARE NOT SHOWING UP due to not enough staff. While Mom who has Alzheimer's and just got out of the hospital is waiting and I am there also waiting. So, I would think twice before using this Agency. If they cannot bother to show up. Then you shouldn't bother hiring them.
We were assigned the home healthcare agency by my dad’s primary care for some in home PT. Everything was fine with his intake eval on Friday. The PT assured us someone would contact us on Sunday to schedule visits. No one called. The following week I called them and the receptionist took a message. Still, no one contacted us. Finally on Wednesday, the arrendant that was supposed to help w bathing called him to say she was coming the next day. That didn’t work for us so I requested the following Monday. She said she was available and would call on Sunday with a time for Monday. Sunday came and went with NO PHONE CALL again. Monday, I called again to inquire. The receptionist told me that he was scheduled for PT on Monday and car attendant to help with bathing on Tuesday. No one ever called us to tell us we were scheduled for these appointments. I asked her to cancel our service and we found care elsewhere. Very disappointing.
