Gardens for Texas provide top-notch service! Jamie and her crew in particular met all of our needs in a timely and budget-friendly manner. Beginning with a phone interview to determine our needs, followed with visits, suggested design and setting a work date that fit our schedule, Jamie worked hard to bring our vision to reality. I highly recommend Gardens for Texas for any landscape project! Diane Duda - Dallas

Jamie, Sandra and the rest of their team did an outstanding job of re-creating our yard “2.0” from scratch. After completing numerous upgrades on the home interior, the final major project was to re-envision our yard as if starting from scratch. Color that would pop and unfold throughout the year was introduced and the 26-year old irrigation system was totally replaced. Our pride and joy is the raised Cor-Ten steel raised vegetable and herb garden on the east side yard. With flexible PVC row hoops and frost covers added, my first ever winter crop is now poking above the ground. From the landscape design process through the irrigation & landscape installation, punch list and warranty work to promptly replace the few plants that didn’t survive the brutal summer, the team was very responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with. My wife and I are both registered architects so we know how to evaluate, hire and manage other design professionals. This women owned business is one that I can enthusiastically endorse as being right for us and anyone else wanting to refresh their landscaping and get it done right the first time.

Jamie and Gardens for Texas recently completed a full yard remodel - front and back. From the layout to the plant suggestions to the sod types to drainage, Jamie and her crew were very helpful and informative. She even recommended a stamped concrete company for patios and irrigation company for sprinklers - all turned out amazing. I would highly recommend Jamie and Gardens for Texas for your landscape remodel needs!

Jamie and Sandra recently designed and installed a new xeriscape garden for me. I could not be more thrilled with the result. This extensive project was completed during the winter. My garden is ready for the Texas hot summer! Gardens for Texas took a sad looking front yard covered in dead grass and turned it into a water-friendly paradise. They removed the dead turf and installed a water- saving irrigation system. My beautiful new dry river rock stream serves as a biodetention area returning rainwater to the ground and complies with local mandates. Along the rock stream and throughout the xeriscape garden their friendly crew planted over 80 drought-tolerant plants in many varieties. They created a seating area and placed art objects around. I now want to start every day with coffee in my xeriscape garden.

Just prior to having my yard redesigned, I contacted a company to install an irrigation system. Telling them about my yard plans, they recommended I use Gardens for Texas for the redesign and I’m so glad they did. Everything was coordinated flawlessly. Now I have the loveliest landscape in the neighborhood. Thanks to Jamie, Sandra and their team, there is a beautiful flagstone sitting area under a large Live Oak tree on the front of my home. From the front down the side to the back patio, there are colorful drought tolerant perennials and flowering shrubs that attract birds, bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. The flower beds are very large so Jamie put in a path from front to back that separates the planting areas. It is so serene to walk along the path or sit in the shade surrounded by such beauty. I’ve gotten many, many compliments from not only my neighbors but strangers walking or driving through the neighborhood. I’ve used Gardens for Texas more than once and will definitely use their services for any additional work.
