I was in Dallas visiting friends and we wandered out of the Motley Mayhem show. It was a fun evening. The atmosphere was great, the entertainment very good, and the food/drinks great. I have never been disappointed going here.

I have atttended GMBG as both a music venue and restaurant. As a music venue, it's really great. The show I particularly attended sold upgraded tickets for the VIP area for the second floor. It comes with its own bar, which is less crowded and also saves you from having to go back and forth to the downstairs one. I highly recommend that area if you can snag it. For the food, I went with the brisket and jalapeno sausage, with the tillamook mac n cheese, and the classic fries option. The brisket came sliced butterfly style. Excellent bark, and the sausage had a good kick. Mac n cheese was better than grandma used to make. The service. The wait staff was superb. I mean above and beyond superb. I found myself hanging out with them as the place was emptying out. Next thing I knew, it was 530 in the morning and they were driving me to a hotel after closing down 2 strip clubs. 10/10 on the fries. Expertly seasoned and fried crisp, but not too crisp

Food wasn't bad. Staff may have been understaffed as they appeared literally in distress. My bartender didn't listen to a single thing I asked for. As for limes, he forgot, asked for sweet potato fries, regular ones came out. Burger was good. Music outside was entertaining. Place isn't bad. Staff could use some work. Seems like a lack of training as some staff was very pleasant and attentive.
