We recently purchased ground bison from Green Fields Bison Ranch and made bison burgers with crisp bacon crumble and sharp cheese mixed in with the meat. We then grilled the burgers along with some pineapple and added our favorite toppings like lettuce, avocado, cucumber slices, onion and a great sauce called Hoss Soss!! They were so great!! Loved the sweet rich flavor that the bison has!! I would try their meat again!
Tough and bland tasting. Maybe slaughtered too young? Bison meat is some of my favorite meats. BUT all the Bison meat I had previous to this was from Montana and far superior also. Even the ground meat was so much better than this. This was an expensive disappointment. Will not be buying again.
I've ordered some buffalo a while back and it was wonderful! These folks are so nice too! Ordering again!
