Be careful about your graduation plan. Some Counselors know what they're doing and will make sure you're on the right path. Others will let your child go through without fulfilling all the requirements of graduation. Other than that, the level of education has been good better than public schools. Some of the teachers are top-notch, real quality educators. Others are either incapable or disinterested in education. All-in-all I'd say the school is above average ... but make sure you're on top of all of the options (dual credit, AP, extracurricular, etc.) because they won't volunteer any information to you. Also, class sizes are too large (I suppose that's true in every school), there are very few sports options, the parents are unbelievably selfish and rude (not really the school's fault, of course), and the political leanings of the teachers are not only obvious but pushed on the kids. My kids have had many discussions about the misguided principles of the teachers as they try to indoctrinate my kids into their poorly considered agendas. Again, this is probably true in every school. I certainly remember being pushed politically in grade school as well, and they'll definitely receive that kind of push in college so this may actually help them learn to think for themselves instead of taking somebody else's opinion as gospel.

I subbed here this week and I loved it. The school is well managed and the students are well behaved and they are learning. I can't say the same for other schools I've been to.
