I decided to take a risk on a new restaurant and placed an order online for pickup. Trying this place was a terrible, terrible mistake. Their \amazing Korean\ pork belly dish was completely inedible. It was literally 4 bacon sized slices of the toughest pieces of meat I've tried to eat (in the end, I couldn't; it was disgusting). This 15 tragedy of an entree was not helped by the side of raw onions and 4 pieces of lettuce that came with it, nor were the jalapeno slices enough to make up for the amazing amount of gross this food was. The disappointment and betrayal I am feeling right now is overwhelming, because I spent 50 on basically 5 worth of food. Paying so much for it to be this bad was insulting. I could have found a tastier dinner in the dumpster at Denny's. Seriously. I do not like to leave unjustifiably mean, scathing reviews because I do want to give businesses the benefit of the doubt. It isn't easy running a business, certainly it must be challenging running a restaurant, especially in these tough times. But considering how rough things are anyway, how hard life is for people, customers don't need to be subjected to this kind of experience. When you decide to use obviously cheap ingredients, and you make zero effort to cook it or present it with any amount of professional skill or effort, and THEN you have the nerve to charge 15 for such an unfair exchange of money and services, I get upset. I don't make a lot of money. I eat out as a treat to myself for working a long week, and I feel so ripped off and cheated, and I don't want anyone else to find themselves in this same situation. Because this experience hurt my feelings. Literally, I am crying, I am so angry and hungry and 50 poorer from it.

I went to the Hungry Belly in Dallas, Tx while on vacation. We were just looking for some food Japanese food. We got there and the food was amazing! The ramen had tasty broth with perfectly poached eggs. The sushi tasted really good, especially with their soy sauce and it was just a really good experience.

Perfect outdoor seating especially during covid, they have keto friendly (no rice) sushi, and the ambience is casual with friendly staff.
