The food was great and reasonably priced. The chips and salsa were awesome. The service was excellent and the place is a really a terrific looking space, comfortable even though it was very crowded on a Wednesday night. Management was present and checked on our table a few times, they really have the service part down. Valet parking only and expensive drinks. A really great place for dinner.

January 23, 2021 place was packed. Don’t go if you are worried about getting COVID 19. They were at 100% capacity!
We went to Javier's on the weekend of January 23, 2021. This restaurant is PACKED! Although in Dallas County restaurants are to be at 50% this place was at full capacity. Many tables of 8-10 people. There were patrons walking around the cigar bar area without masks. Entered the bar without masks. And nobody said anything to them. I am very disappointed in Javier's!! I will not be back until Covid is no longer an issue. This place is a super spreader restaurant.
Food and margs was delicious. Love this place. Our reservation was for 8pm and when we arrived we had to wait 30 minutes. They also did not follow any CDC recommendations with regard to social distance. No one was allowed to drink at the bar so they corralled waiters to a room smaller than the bar. So back asswards.
