Joann's has a wide variety of sewing and crafting needs. You can get great discounts if you use their mobile app. Their employees are knowledgeable and show genuine interest in your projects and will help you make them successful. The Mockingbird/Abrams store was recently renovated and they expanded their inventory.

Miss Jennifer is awesome! This is my long time favorite location in the DFW area but today my visit was met with an unpleasant customer.. let’s call her Karen. (You already know why.) After another customer kindly insisted she pull up her mask that was under her chin, Karen started badgering her about her comment. So as any quality manager would, Jennifer told her she needed to put on her mask. Karen proceeded to shout about how “rude” Jennifer’s delivery was but Jennifer was completely professional despite having to ask multiple times. After Karen finally adhered to policy, she continued to harass Jennifer with her irate disdain. Of course Jennifer could not really defend herself because she chose to maintain her professionalism so I had to go off on Karen myself. It wasn’t until I spoke up that she stopped attacking Jennifer. Then she went on to complain about me, causing an even bigger scene in the store. She was obviously a mentally unstable bully determined to wreak havoc and I can’t applaud Jennifer enough for her professionalism. Even at checkout where Karen spent 20 minutes complaining and holding up the line she refused to wear her mask properly. JoAnn is lucky to have such a great manager like Jennifer. She deserves a promotion for the way she handled the situation!!

This particular Jo-Ann's is close to my house so it's very convenient for me to shop here. It is not as large or well-stocked as the one on Forest Lane and Preston. But if you can't find what you want in the store you can always order it online and have it shipped to your house or to the store and pick it up. The staff there has always been very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable and if you wait to shop a sale you can get a good deal. They have just about everything you need for crafting, needlearts, sewing or decorating for holidays or parties.
