I had started noticing a sore throat the day before I was seen at Lakewood ER. By the afternoon of the next day I knew I needed to be tested, I mean what if it’s covid?? I was lucky enough to be seen by Dr Patel. She was so attentive and generous! Well turns out it’s only strep, but still quite a pain! Dr Patel offered me a course of antibiotics or a one time shot. I went with the shot and she was kind enough to “warm it up” for me so it wouldn’t be as painful. The nurse, Randy, who did my triage was so prompt and attentive and the tech, Audrey, who did my swab was so efficient. Overall a great experience with this A team (minus the shot, ouch!). Cannot say enough about the good people of Lakewood ER and it’s sister facilities. Also, beautiful facility.

I got taking care of straight away from the doctor and nurses. Nurses came in the room provided all the treatments that needed, they told me what will they put in me without me asking them first (I am always concerned about the drug or medicine I need to take) For them doing that, it makes me feel safe and comfy to be taking by these people. They were also politely acknowledged me how the machine work on me and what to do when I go to TC scan, that makes me feel really comfortable and trustful. After a year of pain and tried to the ER at the hospital where they never diagnosed me, only gave pain medicine and IV and billed me a big amount of money. I will never go back to the ER at the hospital again because it never help me to get rid of my pain. I recommended this place to come of needed ER. I feel like been I was treated like a queen and my pain goes away. Ps. They put the socks on for me as well, how nice!!

My wife cut her finger pretty badly on Christmas Day. Everyone was professional and polite, except for the front desk person. The nurses and doctor were all very thorough, thoughtful and skilled. They went out of their way (especially the doctor) to make her feel comfortable and cared for. Hopefully, the front desk person was just having a bad day and her behavior that day is not typical.

We love this ER!! We never have to wait too long to be attended by the staff. We’ve gone there for minor cuts and wounds as well as serious injuries that required in-depth medical attention. We have also came here to get our COVID-19 tests. Dr. Patel is very gracious with amazing bed side manners. We will never go to a normal ER again!!

All I can say is WOW! This is the best ER I’ve ever been to in my life! I can’t see myself going anywhere else while I live on this side of town! I came in and was immediately seen! I was in and out in record time. I even had a mild procedure performed and the doctor walked me through every step of the procedure. Everyone was so nice and respectful!
