This is my go to local book store and I find it more enjoyable than those other 1/2 price chains. I know I’ll find something every time I come here. The people that work here are really nice and will go out of the way to help you find what you are looking for. I recommend you give it a shot and step inside. My favorite section is the seating area in the back, boxes of books makes it feel like a treasure hunt.

This place is a hidden gem. Beats all other bookstores in Dallas. Has the feel of an old library and even smells like one. I could spend an entire day here and not get bored. Ample seating for a quiet sojourn into the world of imagination.

A family-owned store for things in print as well as media. They work by customers building up their \credit\ when things are brought into the store in exchange for items purchased from the store. My first visit was a little disconcerting when I found the books I'd brought in didn't get me cash, but rather, gave me credits for future purchase discounts. This is a great example of a family that believes in sharing the gifts of literature and media with all those who come in. Very pleasant experience for me.

Love this place! Incredibly kind owners, great selection, and always feel better supporting a local store. Please check them out!

Love the new location! The store is very open and easy to get around in now, and it seems much more busy the past few times I've been in. They have an extremely reasonable trade-in policy, which has made sure they're the only people I trade in my media to anymore (and make me regret every giving anything to Half Price Books!). While I might not go in and find any exact book off my wishlists, I can always find plenty of interesting books to pick up! And with trade-in credit, they end up so cheap that I can come out with an armful for the same price I might pay for one new book.
