A great place to dine in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner- a real American Classic! The portions are outrageous, the price is low, the taste is great! We ordered "Chicken, Bacon and Waffles" and "Flag Ship Chicken Sandwich" specials. The waffles are light, the bacon is crisp; mozzarella sticks are hot and creamy (making the flag on the ship of a sandwich). The service is awesome, fast, and clean. Would definitely be coming back! Also, any piece of pie is great, but we finished with an "Almond Joy" pie. Editing the review: We are going back to this place for the pies! I tried them all and for now Almond Joy is still my favorite! It says a lot about their tasty food if I am specifically going there for the pies!

We stopped here for breakfast and we were starving. The menu is quite extensive and the prices are good for the amount of food you get. I had the country eggs Benedict with a biscuit and sausage patty topped with scrambled eggs and a side of home fries. It was good despite the facts that the scrambled eggs were a little over cooked. The potatoes had good flavor, but they could have been a touch crispier. I also split a half of an order of waffles, they were good, they could have been a little crispier in the outside, but they also had a good flavor. All in all, I’d visit again and try another dish, it’s a nice local diner with big portions and good prices.

Awesome food and great service! We came in for brunch and loved this place! Everything is super fresh! The place was extremely busy, but our food still came out very quickly. I love that you can get on the waitlist from home - you can do that on Yelp. But make sure you check out the wait time before you drive there - sometimes the wait is more than an hour! We will be back for sure!

Absolutely loved this place. Left there not feeling like I want more to eat, absolutely full. I really loved how they had variations of poutine, but getting the classic will do. They have so many different foods that have been mentioned on food shows. You can literally come here for a week and get something that has been featured. They do a bang up job on the desserts as well. Definitely come here with an appetite, you'll be surprised how big of portions. Only suggestion would to be get more on the drink menu.

Very unexpected. This place is really good. Good service and the food was amazing. Not expensive at all. We've been to other diners that are more expensive and nowhere near that good. Highly recommend the Corned beef breakfast

Came here after Easter service to enjoy some great food and conversation. I immediately spotted someone eating a beautiful plate of chicken and waffles and I was sold. I ended up receiving this delicious tower and it was amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was impeccable. I will be returning to try some more great food!

Well worth all the good and great reviews this North Dallas breakfast hotspot receives. Canadian breakfast dishes are classics and the Country Cabin along with the Big Country breakfast are the very best for a morning’s large appetite seekers. Occasionally the service can be slightly off but it’s best just to remind them in a friendly way why you’ve come there. Dallas is not the biggest breakfast city in the nation for it’s size at any rate as most folks do so from home before racing to work or workout... but if you like a great breakfast...Maple Leaf a Diner is a Winner!

Every single thing on the menu is so delicious. If what you ordered does not come with cream puffs, order some on the side. I don't care what your dish is, GET THE PUFFS! Also they have a bunch of great mimosas. We love Christina!
