My daughter and I were in there Thursday-Sunday and let me tell you Lauren and Frances were the best nurses I have ever met. They went above and beyond to make sure my 8 month old was taken care of . So to Lauren and Frances on the 600D floor your amazing and thank you so much for taking care of my sweet girl.

We've been to this hospital many times since COVID hit and have generally had good experiences. But a few times we've been greeted with this at registration. I tried to proceed to the registration bay that was open, but Security forced me to call them using this phone. Touching this handset and especially lifting it up to my face felt like a really unsafe option, especially with COVID cases so high and a new, more infectious strain in the U.S. I would like someone from Infection Prevention to comment on how this is safe in any way. I used the speaker phone option instead of picking up the handset and holding it to my face, but the volume was all the way down, so it was clear that very few others chose to do the same. And I still had to push the same numbers everyone else did. At no time during our wait or after my call was the phone disinfected. It seems like instead of keeping us safe, Medical City is trying to cut down on the number of Registration staff they have available.

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. I had a biopsy done on 12/4 at medical city radiology department. Before I was seen by the Doctor I was told I had to pay a extremely highly co pay as I advised I did not have that kind of money as we are in a pandemic I was then rudely told I couldn’t be seen. After speaking to the office manager I was then allowed to make payment arrangements. After that traumatic experience The Dr and Nurse took great care of me. The Dr told me results would be in within 5 days. So I waited the 5 days and have been calling my dr office and the radiology department at medical city to get my results. Nothing until today when Debbie in the pathology department who smugly told me that my results have been sitting in her office since the 7th and that they didn’t have a fax number so it’s just been sitting there! Now mind you I have received two bills in the mail and several calls about my payment arrangement but no one could simply google the dr office or contact me about my results! Patient care is non existent here! All they care about is money damn if you die! I asked to speak with Debbie manager Michelle who advised she would speak with her about the way she talked to me! Nothing about retraining and putting patients and their care first! Worst hospital staff!

No one shared the information about the patient portal , our visit felt a bit disorganized and rushed at one point . Did not feel fully informed at all. The nurse or LPN who came in dropped the Benadryl syringe and then tried to wipe it off to give it to my child and I refused so he brought another one . Just not the total quality of care I expected and that’s big for me when it comes to my child.

My mom and I went to the emergency room bc I had a really bad stomach pain. We previously went to other places and they did not find out what I had till I went there they find out what I had I highly recommend this hospital. Thank you doctors and nurses y'all did a great job!!!
