It was late, I was travel tired and I called Mercat and the cheerful hostess said “come we will take care of you” and they did. Mercat could best be described as a bistro. The crispy lamb shank was superb with a mouth watering texture and flavor. Service was very prompt and the servers were friendly. I liked the atmosphere and if I lived in Dallas I would be a regular at this place. For me this place fired on all cylinders.

Great spot for brunch. The ambiance is nice and does reflect the feeling of a French bistro. We had an excellent server. The menu is great. One of the best cappuccinos around. Although I did find the bartender who made the cappuccino to be a bit curt like we we were inconveniencing him when we asked him to make the drinks. I did find the steak to be underdone. Asked for med rare but got cold and rare. Eggs on the Benedict came out too runny and underdone. Everything else was great. Will definitely go back to work through rest of menu.

I really liked the atmosphere and if I lived in Dallas I would be a regular at this place. For me this place fired on all cylinders. Definitely worth visiting more than one time

I should have ordered the chicken because the steak was super salty and the butter helped but wasn't five star. Indulging the great company of a wedding. Must say that the salad with a steak was very too earthy and the desserts were too dense but the creme brulee was Amazing. To get your 5 Star spot in a room to have food, I will say that I give you guys two stars only because there's so many people in this room that thought the same.

This restaurant is really fabulous! The food was fantastic, but you have to get in early to get the bread/pastry basket because they sell out. I also recommend making a reservation, we only had a short wait without but we went later in the morning and it was still packed. The ambiance is really cozy and it pulls off the paris vibe perfectly.
