At first I thought this place was pretty good. Until my kitten got ringworm. I went in and he charged me 90 for the visit plus a tiny container of a topical medication that did not work at all. He didn’t even do a culture to confirm either. Then, he said if the topical didn’t work in a week we would try something more aggressive. A week later, his condition only worsened. I called Dr. Wood and told him this, and he said he doesn’t have any other aggressive meds so I’ll have to go make an appointment at some other place. I don’t think he was trying to be rude on the phone, but it really just rubbed me the wrong way. Why didn’t he tell me in the first place that he is unable to adequately treat ringworm? He wasted my money and time, and if he had told me in the first place, this would have been treated sooner and for less money. And now I have ringworm too. Maybe he is great for simple things like vaccinations, and maybe fixing. But if you have a pesky issue like ringworm, I STRONGLY suggest you go somewhere else.

Staff was friendly and very professional. They seem to really care for people pets. Also not to mention they have reasonable prices. Took my dog there and they were able to treat him and now he's doing very well. I'm thankful for this place. I highly recommend this vet clinic for your pets.
I brought my little girl here after being told that she was going to need emergency surgery for Pyometria. You can imagine the panic when the first 8 places I called quoted ( just to start ) 5000 to 7000 depending on the severity. Nobody had a payment plan, nobody would work with us. That left me with euthanasia and that was not an option. I happened upon Mission vet clinic who literally saved my little girls life. I was charged less for the surgery than for the last clinic to diagnose her for 689.57. Mission vet staff was kind, understanding and most of all understood that we were in the middle of a pandemic and sometimes some people need help. They have forever won my business and best of all we were allowed to donate a 100.00 towards the next person who may need help. God bless you mission vet!
