If you've every been to the city landfill, you know these transfer stations are a life saver. Instead of looking for a place or people to dispose of the contents of an old house I bought, we took this trash to the transfer station. So if you have old furniture or yard trash and you also have access to pickup, take your household trash there. There are several across Dallas.

Very convenient spot for recycling and trash. Dallas residents can dump household items for free. Recycling area takes electronics and other items. ID required to prove you are Dallas resident.
