I've got about 12 hours of tattoo work in with Mark Thompson. He is always on time. I pretty much told him what I was looking for and told him to do whatever he wants. Basically I looked at his work and decided he was an artist I liked and I didn't want to limit him. That's what I recommend. He only does custom work ..... NO CLIP ART.

Crap service. we live 1.5 hours from Dallas, my wife called and asked to make an appointment 4 days in advance, she was told no appointments, it would be dead on Tuesday anyway just come down. She shows up on Tuesday and none of the artists were in just some person working the desk who couldn't do anything, she was told "just come back tomorrow, no one will be here today" Very very unprofessional! will take our business else where and advise everyone else to do the same. with that level of irresponsibility and unprofessional behavior don't think you want them sticking needles in you. Next time someone calls to make an appointment, Make it.

I honestly admit that I am biased because I am married to Eric, but cleanliness is a fact and this shop prides itself on it's proper practices. GENERAL PUBLIC: The health department doesn't regulate tattoo shops much more than receiving a check in the mail each year! Obscurities uses everything disposable, aside from a couple tools used for very complicated piercings. DON'T BARGAIN SHOP ON YOUR BODY AND HEALTH!!! If you choose another shop, please ask about their knowledge of bloodborne pathogens for your safety

My mother and I went here yesterday for our 2nd tattoo each. We each had our own design that we wanted. Mark was the artist who did my tattoo for me. I knew it was going to have a lot of detail and he originally told me for the size that I wanted, that I could lose some of the intricate detail. I knew that going in and was okay with it. He was able to clean it up to get the size that I wanted for the location that I wanted. I was a little weary about getting it on my wrist because my other tattoo was not painful at all, in fact I slept through it. Mark was able to distract me by talking to me most of the time. He made me feel completely at ease and after the first couple of minutes, I hardly noticed. Once I was able to see the finish product, I was amazed. The lines, the shading and the details are completely amazing. He even was able to include some of the original details that he thought he would have to scratch. I completely in love with it and the price he quoted me was accurate. I will definitely be going back to Mark for future pieces. My mom's tattoo was complicated as well and Mark had actually told her she wouldnt be able to get it at the size she wanted because some of the detail would start to blur, which she kind of expected going in. She was able to tell Riley what she wanted and what Mark had said about some of the detail. Riley was able to play with some of that detail and was able to get my mom's tattoo that she really wanted, the size that she wanted on the location that she wanted it. He made her feel completely at ease by talking to her during the visit as well. He also quoted her an accurate price for the size and color of her tattoo. I have gone to this shop for both tattoos and my piercing and will continue to go back for any future work that I may have.

I was pierced by Elayne Angel when she was there in February this year so I can't speak to the level of skill from members normally at the shop. I can speak for how rude they were to me though. I had asked the man at the front desk about upgrading the jewelry for my triangle piercing. He nodded over to the jewelry case and said, "All the jewelry is over there." and then proceeded to ignore me and acted like it was some big inconvenience to pull himself out of his phone for five seconds to talk to me about it. Anyways, since I had to purchase jewelry from the shop and none of it went to Elayne (who is amazing and I highly recommend btw even if you have to go here to get pierced by her), I went with the cheapest option I could go with. It is very clean however, if you are okay to throw money at people who are going to be rude to you while they are performing a service, it's probably a great place for you. They don't seem to be unskilled, just rude.

Got my first tattoo today by Dominic Cichowski. He was great, very professional and will definitely be back to see him for any other works of art
