I had the worst experience in this establishment. I literally walked out of the door in TEARS because my hair was absolutely ruined. I understand this is a school and I hold nothing against the student, she was sweet and I understand she is still learning. The instructor however is a whole other story. She had the audacity to ask me what was wrong with my hair when it was very clearly a disaster. Instead of stepping in and trying to correct it they tried telling me it looked good. I was so exasperated I couldn't even put the words together to express my anger and sadness by looking at my hair. To make matters worse, they actually expected me to pay 150 as I'm standing in front of them with TEARS rolling down my face. I managed to mumble out that I was NOT paying 150 for them to butcher my hair. They ended up charging me 98 and I was in such a hurry to walk out of there I just paid. I called them, and I'm waiting for a callback since they said they would forward my message to the salon manager, however I doubt they're going to be calling me back since they do not want to refund my money, or even give me a redo since my week is up. Now I'm going to be forced to spend hundreds on my hair in order to fix it. Do yourself a favor and go to a professional who will actually care about your hair and will make sure you walk out feeling great about yourself!

Called to make an appointment as their website states they are open for services. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and said that they haven’t had nor will they have services for months. I let them know that their website said differently since there was miscommunication and they could care less. Won’t be making an appointment even when they become open if that’s the service you’re getting before you even walk through the door. EDIT - there are several reviews from a week ago to a month ago about their services. There seems to be a lot of miscommunication in that salon.

This was my 1st visit and I fell in love with Arlene who did my highlights and cut my hair. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. I loved how the instructors are there to help as well. My highlights are magnificent and haircut was on point! Price is amazing. Ask for Arlene she is great!

Honest Review

To start, the fact I have to write this review from an anonymous account because of concern the staff will treat you differently if you were to ever say a bad thing about Ogle should tell you the first thing about them. I am currently a student at Ogle and would not recommend this school to anyone. The teachers have the worst attitude, don’t know half of what they are talking about and are very lazy. They make it very clear through their attitude and demeanor they are not happy working there and don’t take it seriously like us students who PAY to learn. They play favorites, and are quick to help those that kiss up to them. They talk badly about other students behind their back to other students or teachers. While all of the points are petty, it definitely affects the experience throughout the school and makes students not want to come. The admissions people are extremely sweet and probably the only genuine staff at the school. However, once you get passed admissions and in the school, it’s a whole different story. Unfortunately I’ve learned to keep my head down and just get through it but I would’ve much rather had a better experience somewhere else. Save your money, your time, your sanity and don’t go to Ogle.
