Loved the whole place and love the gift shop as well. Went through every exhibit and by far the best one is the minerals. There's so many beautiful minerals I couldn't stop staring at. There was a guide named Don I think his name was, that talked to me and my parents about these cool minerals. Great staff in the gift shop too. The rest of the exhibit was good too and I love the interactive stuff. Definitely a good place to come with family. Might take my bf here just to see the minerals again and buy more things in the gift shop.

Great science museum in the heart of Dallas! Exhibits are clear and easy to understand. There is a very nice display about birds at the very top floor 4M. The fourth floor has two large exhibits about space and paleontology. The lower floors have exhibits about oil exploration, minerals and biology. There's 10 all day parking across the street. Budget 2-3 hours to see all the exhibits.

The variety of exhibits can keep all ages engaged (28/F/no kids, 5 hours and only left because they were closing) and astounded. The gem room is literally breathtaking, I cried. Truly the whole building is worth your time, I’m buying a membership so I can repeatedly spend future days aimlessly admiring all it has to offer.

Not the most fully developed science museum I've visited, but the interactive exhibits and colorful framing make it a definite must-visit for science-minded youth.
