I had a serious problem with my eye. I went to an ophthalmologist at UTSW and he told me that if he did the surgery on it I would go blind, period, end of story. Needless to say I got a second opinion. I saw Dr. Abbey at Texas Retina Associates and spoke with him at length. I was impressed. He did the surgery and my eye! My vision is perfect and my eye is back to normal! I am so pleased and was well cared for at Texas Retina.

Vicious Truffle

Packed with people waiting for appointments in the middle of a pandemic!!! No way to social distance. We are always here at least 2 hours so they clearly overbook. I feel extra upset because people in the business of keeping people healthy should know better! Try letting people wait in their cars until it’s time for their appointment. It’s like they can’t even adapt to keep their patients, mostly elderly people, safe. I come with a 92 year old friend of mine but if I ever need a retina specialist I would never come here due to this obvious disregard of their patients’ safety.
