Emily Guevara worked with me through several fertility treatments, pregnancy, postpartum, and we continue to work on my general health. She is thoughtful, attentive, educational, and thorough. Emily has a very calming presence, as I believe she truly cares about your health. She thinks \outside the box\ when more than just acupuncture may be recommended. I appreciate that when Emily makes a recommendation, she often follows up to see how it is working and/or if I need additional support. I consider Emily a key part to my health and trust her entirely. I cannot say enough good things and highly recommend her.

Emily is beyond what you would hope for in a healing experience. The time she takes, how she listens, and her knowledge is top notch. I have been to other Acupuncturists and also find the unique type of Acupuncture she uses to be much more comfortable and effective. She is hands down, the best Acupuncturist around!!!
I am over 50 (closer to 60), I’ve had a complete hysterectomy; and deal with low energy, depression, bladder issues and a myriad of complications from fibromyalgia. I was referred to Emily by my PTSD/Depression therapist. I was very nervous about being poked with needles but was seeking a noninvasive treatment, as little help is available through traditional medicine without creating additional negative issues. It’s as if I’ve won Publisher’s Clearing House jackpot! My outlook, attitude, energy level and bladder conditions, all are improved. Emily is detailed in collecting initial appointment information and takes a thorough inventory of past wellness history, combined with current problems suffered. On each follow up appointment, she tracks improvement and alters treatment where needed. Her office is warm, friendly, private and calming. Emily makes me feel like I am the only client she is working on that day. After each appointment, I feel like I had a massage. It is that refreshing and calming! If you need help and you are seeking affordable, noninvasive treatment; if you are tired of being tired, Emily is your ticket! She is a skilled practitioner for any decade of life you are in, and treats much more than fertility problems. She rocks! And p.s., It doesn’t hurt at all!
I went to Emily to help with my reactions to seasonal allergies and help during my third trimester of pregnancy! I had been dealing with increased heartburn, and getting little to no sleep each night because of it. Emily was EXTREMELY helpful in reducing the amount of heartburn I experienced each day. We had two appointments addressing the issues and then she also gave my husband and I a few pressure points to do if I had a flare up! It did wonders! I cannot tell you how important it is to have a full nights sleep again and the relief of not having that constant ache/burn in my chest all day & night long! I definitely recommend Emily for preggo mammas who are suffering the same!
Emily is a phenomenal practitioner that I would recommend to anyone. From hormonal balance to stress management to musculoskeletal injury to energy work ... she covers it all! She listens to my body in a way that takes compassion, skill, and knowledge, and gives it the tools it needs to heal itself. Every time I see her, I leave feeling healthier and more at peace.
