Such a great skate store! The selection of boards and accessories is almost as great as the customer service! The are extremely knowledgeable and are extremely patient with novice riders. We love this shop!!!

I'm a middle-aged white dude, and while I have the requisite number of tats to make me middle-aged white dude cool, I am not cool enough to feel at home in a Deep Ellum skate shop. That is, I should say, until I wandered into The Point in search of a deck as a gift for my 10 year old. From the second I walked in, Sebastian and Warren were awesome. They were enthusiastic about helping the old man out, educating me on the finer points of picking out the right deck, trucks, bearings, wheels and grip tape. They asked the right questions and actually listened to the answers. As I was picking components, the guys pointed out where I should spend money and where saving some made sense. When I decided I was going to need a cruising board of my own, Sebastian even went to his car to get his personal board for me to try out! I spent more than an hour in the shop while they put my boards together, and I left feeling like I belonged there. If you're looking for a shop where the folks are knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and welcoming, look not further than The Point! They had a big selection of all the stuff I'm not cool enough to know much about - clothes, gear, and everything else you could want - and a bowl in the back where I'm sure my kid will be taking lessons soon after Christmas. It feels like the kind of place we'll happily spend a lot of time together, and I can't thank Sebastian and Warren enough for making what I thought would be an uncomfortable few minutes as a fish-out-of-water into a great experience. I would give The Point 10 stars if I could!

The employees at both the locations are super friendly & helpful. Elijah at the Deep Ellum location helped me over the phone. He was polite & went out of his way to place an order for me over the phone since I am out of state. First time purchasing something from The Point Skateshop & it definitely won’t be my last due to their customer service & great prices. Thank you guys!
This place is great! Stopped by for a gift card and ended up staying to watch some people skate on their indoor bowl. I'll be back for sure
I'm in Atlanta so my shopping has been online. I first ordered on Christmas. My order was shipped quick and arrived like 3 days from ordering. I was really impressed they took the time to include a small handwritten note on the invoice. It just made the experience feel a lot more personal. I'm sappy like that. I just ordered again for Vday. I was having issues(user error) ordering a hard to find pair of shoes and it was the last one available in the size I needed. I messaged them on Instagram and they were super helpful. I ordered 2 days ago and my order is arriving today. This is my go to skate shop from here on out.
