We went here for our 3 year anniversary, it was awesome! We got there 15min late but had no problem getting parking or getting our project materials. I made the passport holder and my wife made the jewelry hanger. The staff was helpful when we ran in to a couple hiccups. The drinks were great too. We will definitely be going back!

Upstairs Circus is a unique way to spend a few hours if you want to try something new/different. It’s a “paint n sip” style place except you choose a craft (jewelry making, building household items, etc.) and you are your own instructor. I give it 2 stars because the craft options are not worth the amount of money it costs. Drinks are encouraged but not even 1 drink is included with the seat price per person. There is no instructor so it didn’t make sense as to why the cost was so high. Oh and they don’t have free bags to take your items home in that you create. You must buy that too. Do not choose the wine glass craft!

Upstairs Circus DFW's crew was was awesome! Personality was awesome! Included everyone in conversations, asked everyone where they were from, the tour was awesome! Unfortunately I didn't see anyone famous but it was cool to see places where they hangout!

don’t waste your money. You are better off staying home with paint and glue and a bottle of vodka for half the price. No instructor, no one helping us with the project, and by far the RUDEST women I have ever met. I had to get up from my seat multiple times to ask for help and I was consistently cut off and told to go back to my seat. We were running late due to the traffic, rain, and our Uber being late to pick us up (not our fault). Upon arrival, were insulted by the lady checking us in, despite there being only ONE other couple there so we really weren’t holding anyone up. Use the money to go to a fun restaurant instead and go home for the crafts. Also- good luck contacting anyone if you’re running late, the phone number doesn’t work and no one responded to my email when I said we would be late.

While my initial experience with this place was certainly lacking, toward the end and after choosing a different project it changed a bit. You must know what you are walking into before coming. You choose a project, are given materials, and then you are on your own. No help, no nothing. I'm not a 'DIYer", so this was not an extremely fun experience for me. When I chose a different project, I was charged for it which was entirely unfair due to the fact that I messed up literally nothing of the first project except the practice circles that come with it and again they were for practice not the material for the actual project. The project I ended up with was successful, but certainly not worth the money. I would not recommend this place to anyone as it was a very much "here's what you need, you're on your own" experience. Would have given more stars if I was not charged for a second project when the first one was not ruined in any way and could and most likely would be used by another person in the future.

We went last night and the manager Justin was awesome! He has very informative and helpful. He made the whole experience fun. We love the idea of being able to drink and do crafts. I definitely would recommend you to try it at least once in your life. They have a huge selection of projects. My wife and I really enjoyed every minute.

Recently I booked my first night ever with them for a part of my daughter’s 21st birthday. BIG MISTAKE at least on Main Street in Dallas. What a joke. NO place to park, not even in the 5 public parking lots within 7 blocks. Drove round and round for over an hour. Once there they said “good luck with your 3 hour time slot” What a joke. Don’t ask for 40 a person if you can’t even show up. DO NOT BOOK THIS for anything important. Hobby night - ok, your daughter’s 21st birthday: NO!!!!!!!!! DISASTER.

Overall a really good concept for someone like me who loves DIY crafts! Wide selection of crafts to make which was nice, I went with the stone serving tray. We chose a Sunday Funday event with the time frame being between 3:30-6:30pm. We arrived shortly after 3:30pm but didn't get our craft supplies and situated until about 4:00pm since they only had one person behind the supply counter and it took a while to help each of the crafters ahead of us in line. At 6:00pm on the dot, we were told they were closing and needed to wrap up our project even though we assumed we had another 30 minutes. We were told we could take material home to finish craft or come back to finish so we opted to finish at home but were still very surprised that it was only 6:00pm. Also, online and on their craft menu it says that for the stone serving tray, there is a "variety of stones available" but I was given a white marble stone without the option of choosing. The mystery cocktails were delicious! Overall great experience and would recommend to others.
